A Bit About US

We're on a quest!

Welcome to our family’s grand Canadian adventure! We’re a family of five from Calgary, and our love for the outdoors runs deep. Whether we’re hiking, camping, or simply exploring the wilderness, we find our greatest joy surrounded by nature. For years, we’ve talked about how amazing it would be to see more of Canada, and we finally decided to turn that dream into reality by visiting every national park in the country.

The outdoors is in our blood

The outdoors has always been a huge part of our lives, and we’ve had some incredible experiences along the way. We used to volunteer with mountain rescue, and now we continue that spirit of service as volunteer ski patrollers.

Our love for adventure has taken us to the summits of all the 14ers in Colorado, and we’ve camped and hiked in some of the most stunning places across North America.

We want to pass that same love for the wilderness to our kids, giving them the chance to explore Canada’s vast landscapes and learn about the rich culture and geography of this country. For us, it’s more than just enjoying the outdoors—it’s about fostering a connection with nature that they’ll carry with them for life. From backcountry camping to tackling new trails, we hope our journey will inspire them to appreciate the beauty and diversity of the world around them.

Share the Adventure

This site is our way of ‘planning out loud,’ sharing both the excitement and the challenges of our journey. As we visit each park, we’ll post what we learn about the trails, campsites, and hidden gems we discover along the way. We hope that by documenting our experiences, other families and outdoor enthusiasts will find inspiration and helpful tips for their own adventures.

Our goal isn’t just to check off parks from a list but to connect with the vast beauty of this country and experience the unique landscapes that make each park special. Whether you’re here for travel tips or just following our story, we’re excited to have you along for the ride!
